These corbels were removed from an Arts & Crafts cottage built in 1927. The were not components of the original architecture but were most likely purchased and hung during the 1930s, and they were used to display small decorative objects. They are identical and they appear to have been painted with a glossy ivory paint. I can find no chips, cracks, or scratches.
Each sconce is approximately 6" from top to bottom and 6 3/8" across where the top meets the wall. The flat surface on top is approximately 4" at the deepest point, which is in the center. (They were photographed upside down on plate stands so that they could be pictured straight on, in case you're wondering.)
Please see my other listings for antiques, pewter, commemorative plates, and more. If you purchase more than one lot from me, I will be happy to combine shipping and to ship in the most economical way possible. In this case, please pay the full shipping charge quoted for each item, as if it were going to be shipped separately, and I will refund any amount above and beyond the actual cost to me of shipping all of your items together.
I am always happy to work with buyers in Europe, Japan, and elsewhere. If you are interested in these corbels, I can probably repackage them in a way that will enable me to ship them using a cheaper class of service.
