A UNIQUE PAIR OF YELLOW IRISH PINE CARVED CORINTHIAN PILLARS.
These exquisite pillars originated in Dublin, Ireland and were thought to be carved by master carver John Rehan in the early 1800's. They were part of an entrance porch to a Georgian home in Dublin and were reclaimed in the 1980's.
The pillars measure 7ft in height and are in very good condition, with one scroll carving missing, but otherwise intact. They are not hollow, but solid and measure 12" x 12" at the base and the same at the head. The photographs are a little deceiving where color is concerned as these are bright yellow pine.
These pillars are genuine museum quality pieces with a Provenance.
